O: R humerus fx and shoulder feel stable on palpation. ROM at shoulder limited. Small amount of dried blood at R carpus, didn't find a wound. Moved to R4. Dropped 66g rat, chx

A: Very poor lift and use of R wing in R4. R wing extends down and forward instead of out. May improve as bird tries to move around outdoor space but prognosis is guarded. Didn't get off ground but was not really trying and was more just bouncing at walls.

P: Monitor use of R wing and ability to move around mew. Check on later today to make sure has gotten off ground. Weigh in 4d if not eating, otherwise weigh in 1 week

O: Intact IM pin and ESF tie in in R humerus. Gave 0.13ml torb IM, masked down with isofluarane. Struggled to remove IM pin until noticing sublte screw threads on xray. Some bruising evident around humerus and shoulder from attempts to remove before un screwing the pin. Unscrewed IM pin and removed, some bony fragments evident arond fracture site on xray.

Monitor R wing wrap

A: Healed fx, but a fragment may have come loose during pin removal. Some additional bruising over dorsal humerus/patagium from where trying to brace wing for pin removal.

P: Rec wing wrap for 1 week, change E3D, then recheck. Restarting meloxicam for 5-7 days as needed for pain.
